The *~ Cursed ~* Zyngo’s jackpot is now over L$30,000 & climbing, and a Relay For Life kiosk is now available!

 How often do you get a chance to win $107.52 USD for only 35 cents?  Well at this very moment, that’s exactly what you could do if you played and won the *~ Cursed ~* Zyngo Wyld!, which is located directly to the right of the Landing Point.  For only L$100 you can play for a chance to win over L$30,000 if you beat the score of 94999; and each time you play, 50L is added to the jackpot, so it just keeps growing and growing!

If you’ve never played before, the object of the game is to click every number on the board without getting a devil (which appear randomly).  You can get detailed instructions of the game by clicking the blue part of the game console.  It’s easy to get the hang of and really quite fun to play.

And for those of you who think it’s impossible to score 95k or over on Zyngo Wyld!, may I remind you that Aazy (the game’s creator) has an identical setup on his Sim, with the exception of a higher score to beat, and 6 people have already won a combined L$554,350 ($1,938.29 USD) with an average of over 99,000 points just this year.  So yes, it IS very possible to win big!

And speaking of winning big, *~ Cursed ~* now has a Relay For Life kiosk so you can now donate to the American Cancer Society to help win big against cancer!

The kiosk is located on the other side of the Jewelry Store steps from the Zyngo game.  *~ Cursed ~* is a part of the Giant Snail Races Team, as Cujo Mayo and Syarra Hebert (both *~ Cursed ~* Designers) participate in the Giant Snail Races. 

Each month, RacerX Gullwing hosts a cross country Giant Snail Race which covers 42 Mainland Sims and all proceeds are donated to the Relay For Life campaign!  Cujo and Syarra have finished 1st and 2nd, respectively, in each of the last two races, and will look for the trifecta on July 12th when the last race will be held for this year.  The 30 meter tall trophy in front of the water fountain is what is given to the 1st place finisher.

You don’t have to be a Giant Snail to donate however, and every L$ counts, so please donate to the kiosk if you can so we can help fight cancer!

Tomorrow is going to be a very busy day at *~ Cursed ~*

First, since it will be Friday the 13th, also known as a “Cursed Day”, *~Cursed~* will be having a sale on virtually everything in both the Jewelry and Furniture stores.  For one day only, everything that is boxed will be available to be purchased for 25% off when you use a *~ Cursed ~* Store Card.

All you have to do is buy the Store Card at the discounted price (for example, buy a L$100 card for L$75, or buy a L$250 card for L$188), then wear the card when you’re purchasing the object.  When you’re ready to buy something, just right click on the box and select “Card”.  The amount of the object will then be deducted from your Store Card.  It’s just that simple!

If you’re wearing the *~Cursed~* group tag when purchasing the *~Cursed~* Store Card, you will receive an additional 5% off, so you’ll get a 30% discount on all boxed items in the store!

Second, there will be a special event held by the *~ Cursed ~* Pond from 6 - 9 pm SLT.  It will be to commemorate the 6th month anniversary of the Kingdom of Arcadia’s creation.  Arcadia was the 17th Kingdom made from the VASTLY popular, fun, and addtictive game Tiny Empires.  If you’ve never heard of it, I’d like to welcome you back from underneath your Linden rock, and invite you to join us and learn about this great game played exclusively in Second Life.

The *~ Cursed ~* Park now has a great pond to compliment the meadow and forest!  What used to be the marsh was converted into a pond when terraforming changes were made to the Sim, and half of it now lies on the *~ Cursed ~* parcel and the other on the .:Essentials:.  parcel.  Essentials is our fabulous new neighbor that replaced the Euphoria Club which previously occupied that land.  They are currently setting up their brand new building and getting everything ready, but once finished, they will be your one-stop shop for an assortment of products including Skins, Shapes, Clothing, & Prefabs!

The owners of .:Essentials:. have provided the 7Seas Fishing Game in the new pond.  If you have never heard of the game, you can visit their website at http://www.7seasfishing.com/. 

You can try out the game by paying just 1L for a Demo Rod from the vendor located at the end of the bridge, and with this rod you will be able to catch many kinds of fish that you can either wear (and they’ll swim around you) or you can put them in an aquarium!  You then can upgrade your rod and catch more rare fish as you increase your expert level.  It’s a great way to relax and have a great time without spending a whole lot of money.

To get to the pond, after you teleport to *~ Cursed ~*, head down the plaza until you reach the brick path.  Then take the first left and follow it down the hill to the pond.  There you can fish anywhere around the pond that you like, including sitting on the side of the bridge or out on the pier, or if you prefer, you can just enjoy the day by laying on the hammock under the willow tree.

There will be fishing contests in the future with various prizes awarded, so keep and eye out for those announcements!

*~ Cursed ~* Profile Picks Contest (REVISED)

We are making a few revisions to the *~ Cursed ~* Profile Picks Contest in order to make it easier on us and to provide bigger cash prizes when a winner is randomly drawn.

The changes are as follows:  Every Saturday and Sunday, a winner will be randomly selected from the Profile Picks Contest Board.  If that person has successfully added *~ Cursed ~* to their profile picks, they will be notified and receive L$75.  The winner will then have the option to keep *~Cursed~* in their profile picks for one week.  If they choose to, we will check their profile every day for the next week, and if *~ Cursed ~* remains, the winner will receive an additonal L$75 at the end of the week!

After a winner has been selected, their name will automatically be removed from the Contest Board.  The winner then may reenter the Contest at any time by clicking the board, and if *~ Cursed ~* is still in their profile picks, they will remain eligible to win.

Official *~ Cursed ~* Profile Picks Contest Rules

On Saturday & Sunday, *~ Cursed ~* will give a cash reward to a randomly selected person who:

1. Has *~ Cursed ~* correctly listed in their Profile under the Picks tab in its entirety.

2. Has clicked the blue Contest board to be entered and eligible to be selected as a winner.

An additional reward will be given to the winner one week after they are selected if they successfully keep *~ Cursed ~* in their Profile Picks every day of that week.

The prize money shall be L$75 each time a winner is selected on Saturday and Sunday, and an additional $L75 a week later, provided they successfully meet the requirements.

If you are randomly selected as a winner, your profile will be reviewed to make sure you meet the requirements to win. If you satisfy those requirements, you will be paid the prize money, see a green message in your local chat saying you’ve won, and you’ll receive a congratulatory instant message from Cursed Nitely. Winners are automatically removed from the Contest selection pool, however you are free to enter the contest again by clicking on the board to be eligible for the next drawing.

If you do not meet the requirements, you will receive an instant message from Cursed Nitely explaining what you need to do to be eligible to win and how to do it. Your name will also be removed from the Contest Board, so you will need to click the board again, after you’ve successfully entered *~Cursed~* into your Profile Picks, to be eligible to win.

In the case of an ineligible winner, a new winner will be selected until an eligible one is found.

To Add *~ Cursed ~* to your Profile Picks:
1. Make sure you are standing on the *~ Cursed ~* parcel
2. Right click your Name Tag and click Profile
3. Click on the “Picks” tab on the top
4. Click the New button
5. Click OK on the bottom of the profile to close it

The Contest Board is located on the outside wall of the Jewelry store, between the Jewelry store entrance and the row of ATMs. You may click the sign below the board for a notecard of these instructions.

No purchase is necessary to be eligible. Winners may win multiple, and even consecutive, times if their name is randomly drawn.

*~ Cursed ~* will honor the chosen winners and will pay them the prize money immediately (or in case of SL problems, as soon as possible). If Second Life is down for maintenance or if problems, such as transaction borks, persist throughout the day, there may be no winner selected until Second Life returns to “normal”.

If you’ve been to *~ Cursed ~* lately, you would’ve seen a new Set displayed in the back of the Furniture store.  The Spring Furniture Set is one of our best yet, and comes with many little extras that are not available with any of the other furniture sets; and a few items that are hard, if not impossible, to find in all of Second Life!

Here is a brief description of the contents of the Spring Dining Room, Living Room, and Bedroom Sets:

 Spring Dining Room -

• Drop-Leaf Table -  this VERY unique table includes scripts that allow both sides of the table to be lowered, allowing you to save space.  Just click on the side to raise it whenever you need the extra table space for guests!  This table is Copy/No Transfer due to the fact that all the pieces are not linked, so you won’t have to worry about a broken table if you accidentally mess up something when moving it.
• 4 Chairs with Poses - 4 very lovely white chairs with padded seats and 2 different sitting poses.
• Fruit Bowl - 2 sculpted bananas and 2 sculpted apples sitting in a nice sculpted bowl to compliment your table.
• Rug - a very nice beige and white oriental type rug that completes the Dining Room Set!

Living Room Set -

• Couch with Ottoman - a white sculpted couch containing 4 poses (2 couples and 2 singles) and an ottoman to rest your feet.  The blue and pink poseballs can be easily hidden or shown by typing “/1 hide” or “/1 show”.
• 2 Floor Lamps - these two modern looking lamps give off great light and be turned on and off by clicking them.
• Rockingchair - this very detailed rockingchair comes with a rocking script so you can sit and relax while enjoying the day.  You can turn the rocking on or off by clicking the chair.
• Wall Unit - this nice white wall unit has 9 shelves for you to display your prized possessions and even has room for a TV.
• Plasma TV - a working TV to watch while relaxing on the couch with your loved one.  Just enter in a TV or movie URL in your land’s Media tab (such as http://streams.slcn.tv/live.mov) and sit back & enjoy!
• Rug - this rug comes in the same pattern as the Spring Bed, so it brings all of the Sets together nicely.  Feel free to use this rug with the Bedroom Set if you wish.

Bedroom Set -

• Love Bed - a lovely bed with a default laying couples animation atop 4 sculpted pillows and sculpted sheets all in beautiful pastel spring colors.  Also includes a “Sex Gen” that gives many multiple animations via a drop down menu whenever you click on the bed, which allows you many options to be intimate with or just lie with your loved one.
• Bench - a nice compliment to the bed, this bench includes 2 seperate sitting poses.
• 2 night tables - to accompany the bed, two small white night tables are provided and make a great addition to the bedroom.
• 2 candles - what is better than laying on a nice comfy bed with your loved one while listening to a distant thunderstorm rumble in the distance and watching the light from 2 bedside candles flicker and dance across the ceiling?  Just put out these candles on the nightstand whenever you’d like to add to the ambience of your Spring Bedroom and to enjoy the nice, soft candlelight.
• Vanity with bench - no bedroom is complete without a vanity and mirror to assist the female of the house in getting ready for a night on the town!  Even comes with a small bench with a “hair brushing” animation and actually gives you a hair brush when you click the bench!

As with most of *~ Cursed ~* Furniture, shadowing is added to all of the Spring Furniture to add realism.  This set is truely one of a kind, and you would honestly be hard pressed to find an overall better quality furniture set in all of Second Life.  But don’t take my word for it, come by *~ Cursed ~*  today and have a look for yourself!

On Saturday, April 19th, *~ Cursed ~* is having a Grand ReOpening to commemorate our new Sim and celebrating the “Cursed Day” with contests and a huge sale!

To celebrate this momentous event, from 12:00 am SLT on 4/19 until 12:00 am SLT on 4/20, we are reducing the price of our Store Cards by Half Price! So, for example, you may buy a 100L Store/Gift Card from our two vendors for only 50L (and if you are a member of the *~ Cursed ~* Group, you can buy the cards at 60% off!).

With the Store Card, you may purchase anything in either Jewelry or Furniture store that is boxed. This includes everything in the Jewelry store (with the one exception of Limited Edition Jewelry) and all of the boxed sets in the Furniture store. You could also keep the cards for another day or give them away as gifts.

Also, we will be giving away prizes every other hour from 10 am SLT until 10 pm SLT, with a very special prize at exactly 4:19 pm SLT, for a total of 7 prizes.  All you have to do is touch the Contest Board that will be located in front of the water fountain.  The winner will be randomly selected, but you must be present in order to collect the prize.

As always, (if you haven’t taken it already) you will have the opportunity to fill out a quick survey (near the entrance to the Jewelry store) and you will immediately receive a 50L Store Card that you can use on the same visit! The Contest Board is located on the outside wall of the Jewelry store, between the Jewelry store entrance and the row of ATMs.  You may click the sign below the board for a notecard of these instructions.

Every day (usually during the evenings SLT), *~ Cursed ~* will give a cash reward to a randomly selected person who:
   

        1.  Has *~ Cursed ~* correctly listed in their Profile under the Picks tab in its entirety.
       
        2.  Has clicked the blue Contest board to be entered and eligible to be selected as a winner.

The prize money shall be L$50 Monday through Thursday, and L$100 Friday through Sunday.

If you are randomly selected as a winner, your profile will be reviewed to make sure you meet the requirements to win.  If you satisfy those requirements, you will be paid the prize money, see a green message in your local chat saying you’ve won, and you’ll receive a congratulatory instant message from Cursed Nitely.

The Sim on which *~ Cursed ~* is located has had its name changed to “Cursed”.  The store has not moved or anything, we just now have our own Sim and will be able to expand easily if ever needed.  It also will allow anyone to just type in the name of our store on the map when searching for the Sim.  

In addition, we have a new Lucky Chair located on the far left wall of the Jewelry store (to the left of the *~ Cursed ~* Journeys). Free *~ Cursed ~* jewelry is given out if the first letter of your first name matches the letter on the chair, and a new letter is picked every 20 minutes.  So come by and see every now and then if you might be a winner, and get a free piece of *~ Cursed ~* jewelry!

And finally, the *~ Cursed ~* Park (located past the stores) is now completed!  It includes a very nice forest that has many swings and also free games, including backgammon and Yahtzee, that you may play at any time.  There is also a nice grassy meadow and a marsh area with swans.  Just follow the bricked paths and enjoy Second Life nature!
