April 14, 2008*~ Cursed ~* Profile Picks Contest
*~ Cursed ~* is now having a “contest” of sorts for members of Second Life who have, and keep, *~ Cursed ~* as an entry in their Profile under the Picks tab.
The Contest Board is located on the outside wall of the Jewelry store, between the Jewelry store entrance and the row of ATMs. You may click the sign below the board for a notecard of these instructions.
Every day (usually during the evenings SLT), *~ Cursed ~* will give a cash reward to a randomly selected person who:
1. Has *~ Cursed ~* correctly listed in their Profile under the Picks tab in its entirety.
2. Has clicked the blue Contest board to be entered and eligible to be selected as a winner.
The prize money shall be L$50 Monday through Thursday, and L$100 Friday through Sunday.
If you are randomly selected as a winner, your profile will be reviewed to make sure you meet the requirements to win. If you satisfy those requirements, you will be paid the prize money, see a green message in your local chat saying you’ve won, and you’ll receive a congratulatory instant message from Cursed Nitely.
If you do not meet the requirements, you will receive an instant message from Cursed Nitely explaining what you need to do to be eligible to win and how to do it. Your name will also be removed from the Contest Board, so you will need to click the board again, after you’ve successfully entered *~ Cursed ~* into your Profile Picks, to be eligible for winning the prize money.
In the case of an ineligible winner, a new winner will be selected until an eligible one is found.
To Add *~ Cursed ~* to your Profile Picks:
1. Make sure you are standing on the *~ Cursed ~* parcel
2. Right click your Name Tag and click Profile
3. Click on the “Picks” tab on the top
4. Click the New button
5. Click OK on the bottom of the profile to close it
No purchase is necessary to be eligible. Winners may win multiple, and even consecutive, times if their name is randomly drawn.
*~ Cursed ~* will honor the chosen winners and will pay them the prize money immediately (or in case of SL problems, as soon as possible). If Second Life is down for maintenance or if problems, such as transaction borks, persist throughout the day, there may be no winner selected until Second Life returns to “normal”.
