*~ Cursed ~* Day on 4/19

On Saturday, April 19th, *~ Cursed ~* is having a Grand ReOpening to commemorate our new Sim and celebrating the “Cursed Day” with contests and a huge sale!

To celebrate this momentous event, from 12:00 am SLT on 4/19 until 12:00 am SLT on 4/20, we are reducing the price of our Store Cards by Half Price! So, for example, you may buy a 100L Store/Gift Card from our two vendors for only 50L (and if you are a member of the *~ Cursed ~* Group, you can buy the cards at 60% off!).

With the Store Card, you may purchase anything in either Jewelry or Furniture store that is boxed. This includes everything in the Jewelry store (with the one exception of Limited Edition Jewelry) and all of the boxed sets in the Furniture store. You could also keep the cards for another day or give them away as gifts.

*~ Cursed ~* Profile Picks Contest

*~ Cursed ~* is now having a “contest” of sorts for members of Second Life who have, and keep, *~ Cursed ~* as an entry in their Profile under the Picks tab.

The Contest Board is located on the outside wall of the Jewelry store, between the Jewelry store entrance and the row of ATMs.  You may click the sign below the board for a notecard of these instructions.

Every day (usually during the evenings SLT), *~ Cursed ~* will give a cash reward to a randomly selected person who:
   

New Sim name, Lucky Chair, & Park

The Sim on which *~ Cursed ~* is located has had its name changed to “Cursed”.  The store has not moved or anything, we just now have our own Sim and will be able to expand easily if ever needed.  It also will allow anyone to just type in the name of our store on the map when searching for the Sim.  

In addition, we have a new Lucky Chair located on the far left wall of the Jewelry store (to the left of the *~ Cursed ~* Journeys). Free *~ Cursed ~* jewelry is given out if the first letter of your first name matches the letter on the chair, and a new letter is picked every 20 minutes.  So come by and see every now and then if you might be a winner, and get a free piece of *~ Cursed ~* jewelry!

And finally, the *~ Cursed ~* Park (located past the stores) is now completed!  It includes a very nice forest that has many swings and also free games, including backgammon and Yahtzee, that you may play at any time.  There is also a nice grassy meadow and a marsh area with swans.  Just follow the bricked paths and enjoy Second Life nature!

The Store Card vendors are located just inside the entrance to both the Jewelry and Furniture stores.  You may click the vendor for an instruction notecard, or just right click and pay the amount of credit you wish your card to have.

If you are a member of the *~ Cursed ~* Group, you can buy the cards with 10% off!  To take advantage of this, have your *~ Cursed ~* group tag activated, left click on the vendor then pay (with the 10% discount included) to receive the card.  (For Example, if you want L$500 of credit on your card, you will pay the vendor L$450.  You will then be able to purchase L$500 worth of products.)

*~ Cursed ~* is having a Yard / Inventory Sale!

 You will only hear about it here (or unless you visit *~ Cursed ~*), so this is just one of the many reason why you should check back to this blog regularly!  

 The Yard Sale started last week and will (most likely) run until April 1st.  The items for sale range from simple and cheap on up to very nice furniture.  This sale is being put on by many different people who mainly are wanting to clean out their inventories of items that they simply don’t use anymore - which in no way means the items are of the usual “garage sale of crap” variety.  Some of the stuff can still be bought in stores, but at the discounted prices of a yard sale!

All you have to do is teleport to *~ Cursed ~*, see the big “Yard Sale” sign, and follow the red arrows down the ramp and to the currently flat lawn.

Limited Edition Pixie Kee Necklace

The second *~ Cursed ~* Limited Edition Jewelry piece is now available!

As of this writing, you can find 11 (out of 12 total) of the Pixie Kee Necklaces in the Limited Edition section of the *~ Cursed ~* Jewelry store.

The Pixie Kee Necklace is 246 prims made primarily of diamonds and flattened sparkling gems that seem to bring this pixie to life.  She has 4 wings composed of beautiful blue diamonds, and a dress with a sash made in such a unique way that the clothing seems to move and glisten.
